last few from SBA

Here are my projects from the creative lettering piece in the last issue of Scrapbook Answers. These were fun to make... love finding new ways to add and combine letters on layouts. Words are so important on a page, and it's nice to play and find new things to try.

To create these large letters I masked the letters on the cardstock background and painted over. Once the paint was dry I removed the masking and placed thin strips of paper to fill in the letter shapes.
Products: Rouge de Garance paper; Autumn Leaves rub-ons; Making Memories brads; FoofaLa buttons.

I mixed handcut letters from printed fonts and free-hand cut letters for the title in this Brownie page and backed the letters with a variety of tags, etc.
Products used: Scenic Route paper, DMD Paper Reflections; Rhonna Farrer rub-ons; Westrim rhinestones; Autumn Leaves butterfly tag; Anna Griffin vellum; Making Memories labels, brads; Heidi Swapp photo corners; Heidi Swapp journalling spots; .

Hi Ashley,

Love the look of these layouts. I am just wodering what you have used to 'paint' your background. To me it looks like you have sprayed colour was on it. Maybe added some salt and used a toothbrush to add a drip like effect. But I would love to know how you add depth to pages like this.

Thanks heaps
Rebecca
