quiet heart

if her quiet, quiet heart
was a quiet, quiet place
there would be a quiet smile
upon her quiet, quiet face;
and if her quiet, quiet heart
knew that quiet, quiet peace
she'd be filled with quiet joy,
worries quietly ceased.

your poems are just beautiful-my daughter is 17-applying to colleges that are little too far away for my heart to handle easily. I am working on her scrapbooks and crying often as i realize how fast time has flown. Hold her close.

I'm with Mary. My baby is also 17 and is off to University next year.
Time flies by fast. Enjoy them while they are little!

I can't wait for spring to see those iris you gave me! :)

Have a good one!
