she rolled the dough
with her hands
and pinched the legs
with her hands,
with her hands
pushed lumpy head
atop body patted thin,
with her hands
smoothed it out
pancake hands
and lump of hair,
all standing crooked
upon flattened feet;
and with her hands
she pulled the nose
and bent the arms
until in her hands
she held the likeness
of she and he
and they held hands
she and he.
and with her hands
she gave to him
she and he,
hand in hand,
with her hands,
from her heart.

Love the moment! And I love how you ended with her heart.
