Garden. The whimsical gardenscape in the background was freehand cut in one piece from a sheet of Karen Russell paper and placed over some painted red cardstock (I used white gesso and Caran d'Ache artists crayons). Then just added some felt flowers, buttons and stitching to finish the gardenscape background. I put the title on the patterned chipboard packaging from the red Art Warehouse bookplates -- which, by the way, were awesome to use! They have some adhesive on the back, making tacking them down super easy!

We sat. This is a layout made from scraps leftover from cutting pieces from patterned paper for other layouts. I cut apart a small green felt flower and stitched on red stems to make little leafy/flowery things.

Flat. Addie Blue squishing her sand castle flat FLAT flat. :) I cut the branches from a sheet of Stemma paper and added to scalloped Bazzil and trimmed any paper that hung over the edge. Super easy.

Help. Photos are Addie Blue helping me get the buttons just right on a layout.

ho ho ho. Just before Christmas we were downtown and who did we see? Santa! :) The tree is freehand cut from a large piece of red felt. The background is stitched with short pieces of ribbon I randomly sprinkled across the page. I added the exclamation marks, because it was an exclamation mark sort of day.

on the 26th. Summer Lily on boxing day, hanging out in her jammies and listening to her new FP3 player. I painted Lil Davis chipboard frames and added to the page, I thought they felt rather ornamental.

Jam. Another page made with scraps and handcut papers with embroidery floss stitching to add some detail.
