J'aime le papier! I love paper! :)
I am so excited to announce that I have the honour of teaching at The Paper and Co Show in Versailles, France this September 28 - September 30 2007. The line up of teachers is so fantastic, the venue and city are beautiful! and the classes look wonderful (I am looking forward to signing up for a few!). I will be teaching two classes... one on watercolour and ink illustrations, and one on handlettering techniques. These are both techniques I love and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share and teach with other passionate scrapbookers. I think it will be a fun, fun weekend! My classes will be great for beginners who want to learn some new techniques or more advanced students who are interested in taking their pages to the next level. And whatever your painting or handwriting experience is, we'll make sure this class will work for you -- no prior experience necessary and you don't need to already love your handwriting to learn to love handlettering on your pages! If you can pick up a paintbrush or pick up a pen, believe me -- you can do this! :) If you can't make it to the show in September, both of these techniques are going to be featured in my book Scraptastic!, with full colour step-by-step photos and text and project examples, so you could buy some croissants and put on some good French coffee and play along at home! ;)
Hope I'll see you there in September! :)
Enjoy your day :)
Ashley.
