A page about Addie Blue's first day of second grade.
I used primarily Kaisercraft products on this page.
The pink polka dot paper on the background has a very cool visual texture to it that I love... little tiny white pin striping that runs through the dots. Very cool.
I used music sheet paper from Kaisercraft, cut it apart, and adhered it to a piece of chipboard, then white washed it. I crackled the white paint in a couple of places, and spilled some coffee in a few other places.
I used the cut-off strip from a piece of Kaisercraft patterned paper to tie a paper bow.
I hand wrote the title on a piece of vintage book page and folded it into a banner.
That cute little bird was cut out of a piece of Kaisercraft paper from the Secret Bird Society collection. I made a little aqua crepe paper rosette, white-washed it, glittered it up with fine white crystalline glitter, and pinned the whole thing to the top of the age.
The wee banner was cut from two lovely sheets of shabby rose paper, also from Kaisercraft. One was Sweet Nothings Silver Lining and the other was These Days Reunion.
I punched a pile of confetti and adhered to the bottom of the kraft tag. The playing card was trimmed from a sheet of Sheet Music paper from the Timeless Collection I white-washed it and crumpled it and coffee'd it up a bit, and embellished the two spades with pearls.
Supplies: Patterned paper (Kaisercraft); tags (the Paper Company, the Paper Studio, Avery); photo corners (Canson); punches (Martha Stewart, Recollections); pins (Making Memories, Ditz); glitter (Recollections); pearls (Kaisercraft).
