I am so glad
October Afternoon sketch

This layout is very loosely based on Thursday's October Afternoon sketch. It started out looking more like the OA blog sketch... but I moved things over and down and ended up with this.

Love this photo of my sister and her sweet new little baby Andy.

I used the banners under the photo in the sketch as inspiration to use this torn notebook paper, and the tags layered under the book pages.
The date stamping turned out very messy the first time, so I tried again... and again... and again.. and then just went with it. All of the practice, scrap paper stamping I did turned out perfectly, but I think I've just decided to embrace the messy side of date stamping as part of the date stamp charm.

Supplies: patterned paper (October Afternoon); photo corners (Canson); label (October Afternoon); tags (Avery, the Paper Studio, the Paper Company); stamping ink (Tim Holtz); paper clip (Tim Holtz); sprinklers (October Afternoon).

messy date stamping is very trendy currently...if I would not have read the description, I would have thought that was done intentionally ;)
I love the bit of vintage in all of your pages. awesome!
