a delicate study

i have studied this face,
a daily dissertion of
cherubic cheeks,
angelic jowls,
and the delicate parabola
of her divet.
the sideways sweep of her
lashes
beneath the ginger ridges
of a fine brow,
pursed lips
like a ruby tent
on fair white
cream skin.
traced
every soft curve
over again,
she is a thesis on sweet
baby perfection.
