party of three: when Addie Blue turned four.

A few layouts from Addie Blue's fourth birthday. A small party, a cute girl, and kitty cat cupcakes to take to preschool.

Love these cute paper bags by Whisper Graphics! I used this one to put extra photos from the party in.
Also used lots of labels from Hello Forever on this page. Love that they come in two colourways: Coastline and Random

Heidi Swapp chipboard letters. Love these! Perfect size, and fun font.

Messy misting drops, and glitter and star confetti.

Look at that cute little four-year old face! She seemed so grown up at the time; she's 8 now, and I can't believe what a baby she was, then!

More Heidi Swapp letters. And my fave stand-by supplies: old book pages and tags. I used a little piece of a Hello Forever label on the tag here, leftover from the previous page. Made these two single pages to go side-by-side in my album, and I like using bits and pieces of the same stuff on each page. That way they go together and feel like a two page layout, without me having to actually make a two page layout.

I used quite a few My Mind's Eye brads, some confetti, and foil stars on this page. Makes it feel like a party, I think!

Love these aqua fabric Thickers! They are one of my favourite Thicker packs. I clustered together a little piece of ribbon, a layered My Mind's Eye brad and some tags to create a little base for the number four sticker. This all started out because I had a piece of ribbon piled on my desk, and I liked the way it fell, folded and dimensional and loose. I tried to re-create that look on my page, and then tucked other items around it.

More confetti, brads, and labels!

I've made these kitty cat cupcakes a few times, and they are always a huge hit! Both with the little kids, and big kids!  They make great  Hallowe'en cats with chocolate icing and chocolate ears!

This tag is an old Foofala... turned over to use the plain backside. The little oval label is a vintage one I found at my favourite junky store.

Another My Mind's Eye brad, and glitter confetti.

Great pages!
All three.
Love the layering.
And that alphabet on the first is one of my favorites :)

Love the LOs - beautiful, all of them. That mint green grosgrain is just too delicious a shade, and the old wallpaper is fab (or is it some really cool PP I have missed?!). Love the kitty cakes too and may have to steal the idea to make some for Halloween!

I love the muted colors, so pretty. Great layering and great choice for the book paper.

Just found your blog from two peas. Love your paper piecing and pastel colours. I have your book in fact - so I thought that they looked familiar! I am now a follower!

I love everything about the first layout -- the colors, the sparkle, the striped bag -- and I love how you use book pages!
