On the first day of school, the big girls went to school and we waved good bye from the playground. After every last child was inside and the playground was empty, Lady Bon-Bon was still waving good bye.
Love the new the Sweetest Thing lines by My Mind's Eye! The woodgrain paper in the background has a lovely pink undertone to it, which makes it a little less harsh than some of the other dark woodgrain papers that are out there.
The diagonal stripe paper I made with Smile My Mind's Eye decorative tape on white cardstock! Love it! Before adhering the tape, I spritzed the cardstock with a tiny bit of October Afternoon Pink Lemonade Sprinkler on the bottom corner. I left an inky pink coffee right and drippy mess behind the clouds. So love the way the inking looks under the decorative tape and under the pink vellum.
I have used these October Afternoon Mini Market letter stickers in Sherbet on about five layouts in a row now. So loving the shade of pink. They are going perfectly with the kinds of colours and patterns I am loving right now.
Here you can see the Pink Lemonade Sprinkler misting and coffee ring.
Those pink lace clouds were made from the Reasons Why set of decorative tapes on plain white cardstock, and then cloud punched! This pink lace tape was one of those great surprises... liked it online, LOVED it in person! The little blue and white striped heart was punched off the cut-off strip from one of the papers from the Sweetest Thing collection. Yay for putting scraps into my scrapbooks!
Tasty tape. Love it.
That wonderful yellow label is one of my last pieces from the Hello Forever Random Paper Label set. :is hoping they will be restocked:
Pretty floral tape from the Reasons Why decorative tape set. You know I can't stop using old book pages on my layouts... and I do love tapes... and the two together are so much more awesome than I thought they would be!
