happy happy mail: vintage supplies from Papier Valise

There is an amazing store, called Papier Valise. Janice finds the most amazing vintage items. I recently treated myself to a shopping spree there, and this is what happened when my beautiful, happy mail arrived.

It was a small box, neatly wrapped in lightly lined kraft paper. The corners were crisp.

Inside, there were words en francais. The words were about beautiful things like buttons, paper, ribbon, and flowers.

The insides were wrapped in white tissue paper. I believe some of the best things come wrapped in white tissue paper. Or maybe white tissue paper is just the best wrapping.

The things inside were beautiful.

There were metallic things. Metal numbers, and metal letters. Vintage pins, and lovely sequins in the shades of shiny. A pile of keys. And festive foil.

And there were things made of paper. Labels from things that were meant to be eaten, and from things that were meant to be taken, from things that were meant not to be taken, and from things that were yet to be labelled.

Some of the things have a feeling of spookiness, and will be perfect for Hallowe'en.

If you have never been to Papier Valise before, get comfy and settle in for a lovely browse.
