The Play Date Cafe has offered up a very awesome colour story to inspire your next page... and there is a chance to win a 25$ gift certificate to JBS Mercantile! All you have to do is create a page based on the Colour Story below, and post it to the TPDC blog!
I used these little circle alphas from JBS and some vintage music sheet paper for the title. I absolutely LOVE the new JBS flatbacks, and this creamy "lesson" flatback was perfect for this page and this colour story. I tucked one of the new JBS chipboard clocks behind the title so the flatback wouldn't look too lonely. ;)
Play and win!
I seriously love this Colour Story! Such fantastic colours, and the images in the inspiration piece are just fantastic!
I started out by heat embossing the new Jenni Bowlin Studio stamps onto white cardstock, using Versamark and ZING! Gold Metallic Finish embossing powder.
Typed journalling -- complete with my requisite typo (haha).
I was inspired by the piles of letters and twine and awesome textures of the Colour Story, so I included my own little pile of items. I topped the whole pile off with a JBS chipboard feather that I dipped in gold paint and then whitewashed with gesso.
I absolutely love this Grocers stamp!!! I can see I will be using this entire set of stamps quite often on future projects. :)
