Here is the first pages I made with the Cocoa Daisy kits for May. Almost everything here is from the main kit, Record Label, with a few pieces from Add-On #1 Buddy and Add-On #2 Johnny B.
This is Summer Lily on Crazy Hair Day for school this year. Unfortunately her spikes didn't make it even out the door before they all flopped -- even though I used glue to hold them up! She had pink and purple temporary hair colour in, too, and she was pretty happy with the whole twisty spikes deal (even if they did flop over).
I cut out the speech bubbles from the Teresa Collins patterned paper (He Said She Said collection) and used the left over paper with the speech bubble holes as a mask. I ombre misted the background onto Basic Grey paper. Then I used some of the speech bubbles I cut out as a place to put the title.
I used the heart from the exclusive Cocoa Daisy heart speech bubble stamp to heat emboss onto the background. I used Powder ZING embossing powder by American Crafts here.
I love the decorative paper clips and ribbon included in the main kit! I just used the paper clip as an embellishment here, rather than clipping it to something.
This is the entire exclusive Cocoa Daisy heart speech bubble stamp. So cute! I can see I will definitely be using this one a lot.
