The July kit and add-ons from Cocoa Daisy have been revealed!
This month I received the main kit Cabana, add-on #2 Lime Ricky, and the patterned paper add-on. A video tour of the kits is posted below!
First up, furrow and set. I love the look of serious concentration babies get when they are figuring out how things, like their fat little fingers, work.
I used the You Are My Happy Place banner stamp to heat emboss on vellum in silver embossing powder, then cut out the banner and glued it on under the title.
Love the hot air balloon stamp -- it is one of the new Cocoa Daisy stamps for July! I used the banner stamp here, again heat embossed on vellum in silver glitter.
Next up, hello love, using our 20 week ultrasound photo of New Baby No. 4. :)
Next, like the sound of joy. I just love this little photo series of Ruby Sky when she was first learning how to clap.
This layout was based on a sketch by Stephanie for Cocoa Daisy, and will be up on the CD blog in a few days!

This page started out with the fabulous blue text print paper by Elle's Studio. Then I added an envelope I made out of vellum that I heat embossed with gold polka dots, and then a 6x6 sheet of vellum I stamped with gold polka dots. I used the same Cocoa Daisy confetti stamp for both pieces of vellum. Then I added in the crepe paper banner.. and the rest just kept building from there.
I used a Pebbles tag from the Cocoa Daisy Day In The Life kit, plus a corrugated word from the main kit. Loved that the main came with some glitter this month! So I put a bit of Mod Podge under where I wanted the title to go and sprinkled on a bit of glitter for some sparkle. :)

Love love love the letter sticker combo in the main kit this month. And those Pebbles tags from the DITL kit were so much fun.
Again, I used one of my all-time favourite Cocoa Daisy stamps and heat embossed on a piece of cardstock, this time using Powder Zing embossing powder.
My last layout so far this month was, return from Kienuka. Paul took the girls to an old quarry site (he studies them for work) on their way home from a weekend at Girl Guide and Brownie camp. Even though it wasn't a water-related event, I thought the anchors and especially the "adventure" sentiment suited the photo well.
I started this layout by just laying out some of my favourite pieces from the kit, including the exclusive Cocoa Daisy/Simple Stories cards and Cocoa Daisy letter press card from the main kit.
The anchor tab stamp this month is really cute! I stamped on vellum with Prima chalk ink, and then cut out the stamped image and threaded on a toothpick to make a mini flag embellishment.
I used the Pebbles Lakeside map paper and folded it up to make a "faux map", and distressed the edges to make it look like it was used. I used Cocoa Daisy tab and arrow stamps, plus some paper tabs cut from the exclusive Cocoa Daisy paper from the main kit, to "mark" pages in the map, as if they had been areas of interest the fam had visited while off on their adventure.
Time for a kit tour!

Great layouts!! I, too, love to watch babies figure things out. So cute!
love all the layering. Congratulations on baby No.4! From the blue used on the LO, I take it it's a boy :) He'd be so spoiled by all the sisters...a little prince
We don't know if our new baby is a boy or girl yet. We're waiting till the birth to find out. :)
I just like blue! :)
You, my dear, are incredible!
