The Cocoa Daisy June kit, Candy Shoppe, is seriously my favourite kit ever. I don't want to stop making stuff with it. :) You can see a video tour of the main kit and other layouts I've made, posted here on my blog.
Today's challenge on the Cocoa Daisy blog was all about frames. The kits this month contained a few different types of frames (all of which are totally awesome) and the design team came up with some pretty unique ways to use them! I love how differently all of our design team members think!
I made two pages for this challenge.
Arms Wide Open uses Crate Paper chipboard die cut frames, and I just layered three together under my title. They were sitting, just like that, on my desk and I really liked the way they looked, so I just added them to the layout as they were! Then I made a little flag with a scrap piece of Alison Kreft paper included in June's paper add-on kit, and a tiny wood veneer star from the main kit.
The journalling says, "she strolls, arms wide open, like she is saying, ta-da, I am here."
Love the little labels included in the Crate Paper the Pier sticker sheet, from the Candy Dots add-on.
I used the gold sequins from the main kit, and the gold sequins from the Crate Paper ephemera pack to embellish a piece of misted cardstock.
I made my own frame for this page, I Am the Luckiest. I cut a sun with heart-shaped rays from plain white cardstock, and then put a light wash of pink watercolour over it. I backed the cut-outs with vintage book pages, the bright yellow Alison Kreft paper from June's paper add-on and the number 2 die cut from the Crate Paper the Pier ephemera pack.
I love the little pink buttons from Candy Shoppe, and the gold foil label from the CP ephemera pack!
The arrow label at the top was from the Crate Paper the Pier sticker sheet, and the two die cuts tucked behind the patterned paper are both from the CP ephemera pack.
There are still a few of the main kit, Candy Shoppe, left... if you've been wanting to try out Cocoa Daisy kits or just want an awesome assortment of supplies to play with, I definitely recommend buying this month's kit! :)

Great pages! I really love the idea of the stacked frmes and how unique to have your cut out frame highlight your title!
Lovely pages! Those frames are so awesome, I'd have a hard time using so many on ONE page! lol!
