Trending: kinds of mints that there are

Mint is quickly becoming my new favourite colour! (or, I guess shade... or is it hue? I can never remember...) Anyway, I really like mint. It just feels so fresh, and plus, I am probably very easily influenced by trends and designs and stuff, so when I new colour starts popping up all over decor magazines, blogs, and awesome outfits I will never wear but enjoy seeing on Pinterest, I pretty quickly fall in love.
A quick review of my stash showed that I have quite a few mints already!
So, here are some of the mints that there are. You may even have some. You may want some more. ;)

I don't have a nice true MINTY embossing powder, or stamping ink -- suggestions for some products to check out?

What about you? Are you in love with mint, too?
Nice little embellishments. I didn't have much in the way of minty die cuts, stickers, etc, but I did find a few little bits and pieces tucked away. Mint/white baker's twine; satin ribbon (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan); sequins; sewing pins; vintage seam binding; and a few epoxy brads by Making Memories, October Afternoon, and My Mind's Eye.

Mists. I checked out my mist swatch book and found four that were very close to being truly minty: Mr. Hueys mint julep, Mr. Hueys dewey, Mr. Hueys Seafoam, and October Afternoon Sprinklers Miss Mary Mack.
Here is a comparison of the four minty shades of mist. You can see they are all definitely in the mint family. I think seaform leans more towards the blue side of mint, but still has a minty look.

Here is a sample of my swatch book, so you can see Mr. Huey's seafoam and Mr. Huey's dewey alongside some other mists in the blue/green family.

And I found minty alphabetsHeidi Swapp Clear Pop acetate alpahs, felt Thickers, October Afternoon mini market letter tiles, and there's a set of mint corrugated paper Thickers in there, too.

Mint washi tape! Airmail stripe in thin and wide; argyle, wide confetti triangle, a thinner airmail stripe in a slightly different shade, and a paper tape with dotted diamonds.

More little minty things! Buttons from an OA button pack, and some resin flowers.

And paper! Oh, the minty papery goodness. Going from top left to bottom right:

And we can't forget awesome specialty papers! Dear Lizzy lucky charm mint chevron vellum; Fancy Pants mint corrugated paper (the thicker wale one); and Amy Tangerine corrugated paper.

Are you feeling minty yet? What do you like to pair with the colour mint?

Funny thing this is my fave colour, has been forever so I was super excited to see it become fashionable. I bought a coat in mint around 8 years ago and no one I saw wearing it and now it is trendy LOL
