Jody at Cocoa Daisy issued a challenge this month: to use your phone photos on a layout. I loved this challenge, and used it as an opportunity to finally scrap this picture of my favourite take out coffee... and Instagram print that's been sitting on my desk for a couple of months now, just waiting to get on a page.
Well, I took Jody's challenge and I got that photo on a page!
Stamping! Love the Cocoa Daisy coffee ring and heart stamps. Definitely up there with my other favourite go-to stamps.
Well, I took Jody's challenge and I got that photo on a page!
I started with the pale aqua cardstock included in the kit, and painted it all up using gesso and some aqua mist.
The title is made using the Basic Grey alphas included in 80 Days; I stuck them down on the cardstock before washing the background with gesso and ink. This softened the dark colour of the stickers and I like the little bit of dimension the painted stickers add to the background.
I used some bits and pieces from kits and layered them together around and under the photo: camera paper clip and cream ribbon from 80 Days main; grid journalling card from August Day In the Life; buttons and button packaging from Hong Kong add-on; and chevron paper from London patterned paper add-on.

I covered some mint patterned paper with grey striped washi tape (both from the main kit) and then punched out a photo corner. Love this!!!
