blood and breckie

I was not terribly impressed when, feeling like I had finally fallen asleep, they woke me up at 7 am in the hospital after Evie Grey was born, to draw my blood, and then drop off a breakfast tray. 7 am may not seem early to most of the world, but to a mom who had been up for a lot of the night feeding the baby and having baby blood glucose checks done, it seemed abnormally cruel to me. ;)

Some of my favourite Cocoa Daisy stamps here: coffee ring, notes, and a ledger.

I painted the edge of these Maya Road chipboard letters with neon pink paint. I have a tutorial posted on how to create your own neon edged chipboard letters.

I like to combine ink and heat embossing stamping on the same layout. The combination of the two techniques adds so much to a page! I used my favourite metallic gold ZING embossing powder for the coffee rings on this page.
