This month, it's Grey Street at Cocoa Daisy! But don't be fooled by the name, this kit is far from being grey! It has lots of bright cheery colour -- greens, yellows, aqua blues and I managed to find a little pink in there too :)
I went back one year in my photos and scrapped these pictures of the girls last year playing outside during a snowstorm -- I guess I just haven't had enough snow THIS year! haha. ;)
This page uses mostly papers from the patterned paper add-on. I sewed, cut, and glued a bunch of embellishments for this page to make it feel like an inspiration board.

Love love love that stripey October Afternoon chipboard alpha.
The gold glitter bow is a cut that I made using the cut files I made for the February Cocoa Daisy kits.
I sewed the ruffled tissue paper out of the packaging that Christine puts in our Cocoa Daisy boxes!
Hauled out an assortment of snowflake punches for this one! Grabbed some scraps and punched away. Was the perfect little something that side of the page needed.
Worst. journalling. ever. I seriously used like half a sheet of paper trying to get the journalling right. It all was so, so wrong. And then I couldn't even get it to type nicely! Ugh. I WILL fix this. I WILL.
Also, I really like cutting wonky triangles to use as photo corners. I love photo corners. Did you notice I used 12 in total on this page? :)

Snow Bunnies
So, the photos from this day really aren't very good. It was snowing, I didn't want to leave the porch, and Ruby Sky never sits still. But, I wanted to scrap them anyway, so I did. :) Not every page has to be perfect, right?
I used the sequins from the February kit and Anna's idea to make a little framed photo mat.
I typed the title on one of the label stickers from the main kit.
And I typed the journalling inside. My intention was to write a little story that would hopefully convey the girls' afternoon playing outside and perhaps also give some idea about why the photos aren't super awesome. ;) I have more photos printed from this day and although at the time of writing this blog post I haven't scrapped them yet, I plan to, and hope to use this journalling as a story to tie all the pages together.
I heat embossed this sweet little slide frame stamp using ZING embossing powder in Powder.
AND, next up... and.
Paul *and* Ruby Sky. He hauled that girl around everywhere. He did with the other girls, too. It's a miracle any of them learn to walk. :)
I made a heart embellishment with sequins and added a cork and.
Labels, labels, I love labels.
Needed to break out my favourite Cocoa Daisy stamp, confetti polka dots, and ZING gold embossing powder for this one. The misted pattern on the background is from a mask I cut using the EXCLUSIVE Cocoa Daisy cut files, designed by ME, and available to all subscribers!
This is a pocket type page I made to hold some extra photos from the same snow day the rest of the photos I scrapped this month were taken. I wanted to include them in the album, but sometimes, you only have so many things to say about one snow storm!

I made a patterned paper envelope but instead of gluing the bottom portion together, I tied it up with the lovely grey twill from the kit, so it can be untied and the flap folds down to reveal more photos. I liked the way this page looked with it tied up, too, like a complete layout.
I loved the way the exclusive Cocoa Daisy wood veneer fit in the empty space in this photo, just perfectly!

Such a darling layout! The details are fabulous. Those sweetly arranged sequins stole my heart.
Love these layouts :)
WOW~! Great pages! Love that you incorporated sequins - great frame and heart :) Thought the last one was a pocket page but it's not - so clever! TFS~!
Great pages! Love your creativity with the sequins. The sewed-up tissue paper is one of my favorite elements here!
Love that sequin heart and gold embossed polka dots! Your photos are all so cute too :)
