Hi guys,
I used a bit of Scotch tape to secure the patterned paper behind the cut outs.
I made a super easy, super fast reusable weekly menu frame for my kitchen, using the Daily Special cut file from Cocoa Daisy to co-ordinate with the March kit and stamps. This was a fun DIY project that whipped up in just a few minutes using my Cameo, th Cocoa Daisy cut file, some paper scraps, and a frame from the dollar store.
I used a Zig writer to make some menu notes for the week. I don't always stick to these menus, but I find that having them noted somewhere on the kitchen helps me make a decision on those crazy days when I just don't want to think about dinner -- again! (one of my least favourite things about children is that they want dinner, everyday! insanity!)
To start with, I gathered some supplies. I used my Silhouette Cameo, swiss dot Bazzill cardstock, some paper scraps, clear tape, and a 4x6 frame from the dollar store featuring a romantic couple.
I resized the 4x6 cut file slightly because the opening on the frame was actually only 5" across, not a full 6. Once it was cut, I tried a few different patterned papers behind the Daily Special cut outs and I ended up using these yellow and green scraps from the April Cocoa Daisy kits, Hint of Sunshine.
I used a bit of Scotch tape to secure the patterned paper behind the cut outs.
And, ta-da! Done. Easy-peasy Miss Louisie.
Have you been using your Cocoa Daisy cut files? Link me up and show me what you've been cutting!
Do you use a reusable menu in your kitchen to help with meal planning?

What a great idea! It is very nicely done, too!
Fun idea Ashley, thanks for sharing this. :)
Super cute! I do something similar, with a frame and our weekly menu, but hadn't thought about cutting something for inside. Now I have so many ideas churning! Thank you for the inspiration!!! :)
Such a fun project, Ashley! I want to come to your house. Everything sounds yummy!
Love this idea ! Beautiful frame.
