This page is one I started a couple of months ago, for the June Cocoa Daisy kit, Boho Garden. It wasn't quite right, so I put it to the side and finished it up during the Cocoa Daisy Open House crop in mid-July. Sometimes a page just needs to sit for a while... and then it just needs to be finished!
I ended up adding some paint and stamping to the background, and a bit of patterned paper to the top, and then I just called it done.
The flower and leaf wreath is a Cocoa Daisy cut file. I heat embossed a CD flower stamp in the middle, and added some watercolour to the petals and leaves.
I make a lot of typos when journalling. :)
I heat embossed the Cocoa Daisy confetti polka dot stamp in grapefruit ZING embossing powder, over dried pink watercolour.
And I added some gold spray paint. :)
I meant to use dark blue at the top to heat emboss the polka dot stamp but grabbed the wrong one and used black instead. I think the end result was quite nice, though!
For more inspiration, cool stuff, and generally just really nice stuff to look at,
