August Cocoa Daisy sketch challenge!

Hi everyone!
The August Cocoa Daisy sketch challenge is open for another week -- that gives you plenty of time to gather your favourite Cocoa Daisy kits (or your own supplies, the challenge is open to everyone!) and the August sketch, and get scrapping!

Here's my take on the sketch this month. This page came together super-duper fast.. a sketch and the August kit made this page super easy. I admit, I struggle a bit with not journalling on pages but I really didn't have anything to say, so I took a page from Paige's page (haha) and just went with some basic facts for this one.

Loved the pull-a-flower ribbons included in the August add-on Thrift Shop! So fun. And the yellow resin flower from the main kit, Modern+Vintage, was a perfect match for the yellow pull-a-flower.

I used two black alphas for the title. It looked a little plain, so I sprayed some dusty blue mist over the top portion of the title, to add a little interest.

I hope you will play along with the sketch! Link up your entry on the Cocoa Daisy blog before August 21, 2014 for a chance to win!
