Things That Shine: for her money

This one is about SL working hard! She wanted to earn some money so she could go shopping. :)

I created a mixed media background on white cardstock. I used some gesso and old book pages. Then I used an American Crafts stencil (it's called Copyright) and I mixed some modelling paste with Bubblegum pink Dylusions spray by Ranger

I love using tags on my pages. They are such a timeless staple. I love that they can be simple or plain, embellished or stamped. Layered or left on their own.

A little typed journalling.

I designed an eyelet lace pattern and cut a lacy border out of the white cardstock. I didn't adhere it fully to the patterned paper behind the cut outs, so the white cardstock lifts up slightly and gives an extra-airy look.

I adhered three neon pink hearts from my Be Awesome mix, to a silver foil jewellery tag.

I cut some simple photo corners from the gold glitter tape in my vintage spring kit. I love this tape! It is glittery -- so glittery -- but doesn't shed at all. And it's a perfect shade of gold. Not too yellow, not too brown.

I love vintage embroidery cotton. This pretty green bow was tied from embroidery cotton included in the First Days of Summer kit.

This sweet little pink rhinestone bow is also from the Be Awesome mix, and included in the same Spring Showers, Cotton Clouds kit that the white felt cloud stickers are from.

Love this! Love your use of the different patterns and textures! The clouds looks so sweet sprinkled down the top of the page. :) Evie
