October Cocoa Daisy kits: the weight and measure of her heart

This is another of my October Cocoa Daisy kit pages! I really enjoyed creating with the kit this month. This page started with white cardstock and a page from my old dictionary. You can't see it here, but the dictionary page is titled "Weights and Measures", which prompted the journalling. The journalling lifts out so it can be read, and then tucked behind the two cards.

I painted some watercolour circles, cut them out, and stitched them on. I started out with the gold glitter polka dot stickers from the kit, but needed more dots!!

This diamond card was one of my faves from the Day In The Life kit this month. And the gold foil 12 card was from a previous month... I tucked it away thinking I'd use it on a page about SL when she was 12. It was perfect for this page. I love having some Cocoa Daisy stash to dig into!!

Journalling:

Love these leaves in the Cocoa Daisy subscriber cut files this month. I cut out dozens of them, so handy for layering. I added pink watercolour to one and watercolour dots to the other. I adhered them to thin wire using glue dots. I like the bit of dimension and movement they add to the page.
