It was such a very nice day

This was a fast and easy page! I started with an extra large sheet of watercolour paper -- this stuff is my fave. It is thick, absorbent, and great for cutting down to make a full 12x12 layout.

I started by painting some random light pink watercolour stripes, then added pale aqua acrylic on the right. At the bottom I swiped some gold acrylic paint on, and then used a Swiss Dot stencil from My Favourite Things to stencil black polka dots on the bottom corner.

Some pink watercolour splatters at the top helped fill in an empty space. I applied gold glitter Thickers very randomly for the title!

I love my new vintage script typewriter -- a great Christmas gift from my mom!

Pom pom trim + sequin bow + cute flair = awesomeness. :)

Love the details you share about the layout's creation, thanks. Your title work alone is superb.
