This page was made for all of the random photos I took during the fall of 2013, but didn't want to make whole layouts for. I put a mini album on my page, and now this layout can work as a divider/introduction/title page for all of the layouts from this same period.
Something about this page was bothering me when I first made it.. until I added the borders of the Xs and hearts down either side. I used my heart eyelet background cut file and laid it over some dark blue patterned paper to make borders on either side of the page.
I like the homey, autumnal feeling the layered wood veneer paper gives the front cover.
I tried to use different kinds of gold, and different polka dots on this page, to tie it all together while also creating a really eclectic and collected look.
Those gold glitter polka dots are my fave, and are included in my pink and gold paper heart kit. Actually, the gold glitter polka dot paper and the gold crepe paper used in this mini are also part of that kit!
These big paper polka dots are watercolour on cardstock, and then I cut them out and used them like big confettis.
I love all of the layers, textures, and random edges. :)
Here are all of the inside pages of the mini album.
