Free download: page idea organization card

Do you ever feel like you've run out of page ideas? Or that there's just nothing new and notable to record?

Maybe it's because I've got 4 kids now, or maybe it's because I've been scrapping for over 10 years now, but I've hit a brick wall in the inspiration road -- and hit it HARD. Everything's a struggle.. page ideas, journalling topics, what letter stickers to use (I really beat myself up over this one; seriously, struggling over stickers? Get a life.), having no photos, having too many photos. Or maybe I'm just tired. I don't know.

I feel like every day is full of great and amazing moments, and despite the thousands of photos and hundreds of layouts, I'm letting each one slip away.

But last night I took an index card and a pen into the bath, and came out with 16 page ideas. Here's how I did it: I made a chart.

I started with each of my girls' initials across the top, to make columns of WHO, and then in rows I made these WHAT topics: SAYS, LOVES, DOES, and IS. And I filled in the corresponding box for each one. Now I have 16 page ideas and I can see that these 16 will easily jump start more ideas!

I made this free printable that you can adapt to your own family members or favourite topics. Don't forget.. the WHO across the top doesn't have to be a person, it could be a pet, or by modifying the WHAT rows you could easily jot down page ideas for your favourite places, things to do, colours, etc.
You can save it by right clicking and saving to your computer. Or, if you prefer, you can download the PNG and .studio files here

This kind of stream-lined, organized brainstorming was just what I needed for an inspiration boost!
