Right now I'm mostly listening to the same music I was four years ago... when I headed back to work I charged up and dusted off my old iPod that I used in grad school. I blogged (on my other blog) about being an iHostage. I'd love to update my daily soundtrack with some new faves (mostly, especially, the latest Sufjan Stevens album), but I'm not at all prepared to deal with iTunes and iOS probs. And so, I remain, tethered to the music of a past life.
It's strange and eerie and comfortable.
Current most listened to faves include:
- Pretty much everything Iron & Wine
- The Tallest Man On Earth: Shallow Grave and The Wild Hunt.\
- Robyn
- Christie Front Drive
- The Paper Kites.
- Belle & Sebastian
- Big Boi: Sir Lucious Leftfoot.
- Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
- Fleet Foxes
- Buck 65
- Clem Snide
- Modest Mouse
- The Tough Alliance
- Cloud Cult
- Neutral Milk Hotel
- Godspeed You! Black Emperor (I love a band that changes things up by moving the exclamation mark in their name).
- Bonnie Prince Billy
- The Promise Ring
- Jens Lekman
- JME
- Joanna Newsom
- Mojave Three
- The Shins
- The Pains of Being Pure At Heart
- Shpongle

I've been enjoying these blog challenge posts of yours and even thought about joining this one myself. It seems very "do-able". But I'm spending a bit of time this month on Julie Kirk's 300 comments in 30 days..so hello! It's good to see you finding a bit of time for blogging
We have so much overlap on our playlists!
